Engagement Shoot... Check!

It's sad to admit, but after all these years that Cecy and I have been together (9!!), we have never really taken pictures together, especially by a professional photographer. Although I wish we would have taken a little more time to put some thought into the type of photos we wanted to have (our mistake), It was a pleasure to have had our engagement photos taken by Roger of EP LOVE photography. So here they are...

    Its official, Cecy and I will be getting married on September 1, 2012. I know it will get here quick, but at the same time, not soon enough. I know that will be one of the best days of my life.

The Venue of Choice...

The Red Horse Barn... To be honest, I can't say that the Red Horse Barn was our first choice for the venue. Cecy and I had fallen in love with Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano long before we came across the Red Horse Barn. But life happened and we realized that Franciscan Gardens was maybe just a little too nice, for our wallets, that is. Was it really worth cutting down the guest list to have a "nicer" venue? Not to us..  

So I kept looking around and stumbled across the Red Horse Barn. The place looked cool. It was not your typical wedding venue and I liked that. It looked simple, but it was still cool. The simpleness of it all was one of the reasons why I personally liked the place. It allows for, well actually requires, creativity. And I have to say that the surrounding aren't that bad either. I mean who DOESN'T like horses? So in the end, although I can't say that The Red Horse Barn was our first choice, It was certainly the best choice for what we want. :)

Time To Plan A Wedding...

Welcome and thank you very much for taking a look at our site. We are very excited to see what the next phase of our lives brings and even more thankful that we have such wonderful people to share it with. This is one of the best times of our lives so far and it seriously wouldn't be the same without our family and friends.

There are a few months left until we get married and I'm going to use this site (www.Cecysaidyes.blogspot.com) to keep you guys posted on anything thats going on up until the wedding. Not that I'm expecting anyone to read it other than Cecy and I, but it's still fun for me :).

As far as the actual wedding day celebration, we wish we had the financial ability to invite everyone who is dear to our hearts, however, it is unfortunate that we will be unable to do so. Regardless, those who are not physically there with us that day will definitely be in our thoughts. Thank you very much! We love you guys.
